Other imteresting ads iv cum across are d ones which tell mother's milk is best 4 d baby(Hmm...!),domestic violence is a punishabl offence,girls must b sent 2 school,female foeticide,coughing which prolongs for more dan 4 weeks is T.B(hey u can note dat!),water shud not b allowd to collect in drains,checkin MRP n expiry dates on medicines," consuming iodizd salt" etc.etc...

saas-bahu sagas constitut a chunk of d 'entertainment' proggs.these sops although rule the roost on almost all d channels,the same-old story continues here.

Musical Melodramas too hog d spotlight with many famous brands sponsoring them.But thanx 2 some 'besura' participants, these shows do not generate the same hype n hoopla as their counterparts on privat channels do.

the judges offering their services on des shows r , i wud term, 'endangered species' of d fact that they r rarely /or never seen in social circles. the only good thing is dat other privat channel producers wud definetely not ' hunt ' down these 'species'.
to come out with a chilling truth, the viewers donot even recognize them( at least i didnt but i can very well name the judges of  sa-re-ga-ma-pa even wen im half - asleep!)

then there r krishi prog which teach the viewers( farmers 2 b precise) to tackle d issues related to crops.
so wen my frends discuss high-end reality shows,i can always chip in wid some knowledge of crop disease n fertilizers..!!

the morning 'prime-time' shows include ones which teach the finer nuances of alphabets,their usage n meanings.then there r moronistic stories on ramu- chacha,kaka n d likes!!

next comes the channel which airs NEWS 24 X 7.though in my view this channel still fares better compared 2 other privat news channels which feed d viewers with BREAKING NEWS such as  " The PM sneezes", "SRK slips" , "Rakhi Sawant kisses", " Sachin smashes", " Ash marries a tree"...

but it too has its share of some poorly edited( n of course poorly presented) proggs.
Its quota of news is limited upto 10 pm but since it is a 24 Hr channel , the producers try to "stuff" its schedule with some remotely titled discussion shows with panel of experts comprising mostly( in 95% cases) of people in their ripe - old age barely  managing to speak..!!

some run-of-the mill comedy shows dat even the people scripting it wud not hav njoyed , expect us to laugh our intestines out!!

I do not judge these channels 4 d content aired , but my point is " As a 19 Yr old colleg-going , city-living guy , do i need to watch this 'scrappy' stuff!!
